This is a super quick and easy post for when your feeling like something green that does not taste like something green. This smoothie bowl is super nutritious, loaded with super foods and plant based protein but it tastes exactly like a chocolate mint. If any of you tried making my christmas chocolate mint squares; and I know many of you have; this tastes the same! Just in liquid form and with a little bit more hidden goodness. If you love smoothies in the morning, give this one a go for an extra special treat. I topped this smoothie with raspberries, blueberries, cacao nibs and chocolate buckwheat granola. Hazel & Cacao:
Ingredients
  • 1 ½ cups almond milk
  • 2-3 large handfuls spinach
  • Flesh 1 small avocado
  • 1 scoop chocolate brown rice protein powder
  • 2 tsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 mint leaves
  • ⅛ tsp spirulina powder (optional for extra colour)
Method
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth
  2. Pour into a small bowl and top with whatever you like
