Breakfast Gingerbread Smoothie

Really quick and easy post today. Keeping on the theme of Christmas, I wanted another recipe that would give me the excuse to use molasses again. I have spoken about the health benefits of molasses in my post about natural sweeteners. You can read about it here.

Besides tasting like Christmas, this smoothie is also very filling with a good combination of carbohydrates, protein and healthy fats it should keep you going for the morning. The combination of flax seeds, almonds and soy are also a great combination to support female hormonal balance. If your not feeling Christmassy yet, this is the perfect drink to get you into the Christmas spirit. Hope you enjoy the recipe! Recipe inspired by Wallflower Girl. Find the original recipe here. As always, please adjust the spices to taste.
