What is baobab powder? Baobab powder is the powder of the baobab fruit that grows in the baobab tree. Traditionally all parts of the baobab tree and fruit can be
I have already shared this recipe on Instagram but it is such a good recipe that it absolutely needed a blog post as well. This year I think I have
I recently shared a post on my Instagram stories about healthy oils and many people were shocked to find out that coconut oil is not an ideal oil for overall
As I started to research into the hormone space a few years ago, it became clear to me that many hormone experts, who I love and have learned a lot
I am sure I am not the only one that used to grab one of those supermarket mud cakes from Woolworths or coles. All my friends used to eat these,
After ovulation, the ovary begins to secrete progesterone. The luteal phase is a progesterone dominant phase. During this phase, appetite increases quite noticeably. Studies have shown it is completely normal
I was visiting a friend’s house a while ago who randomly told me that you can make arancini balls with leftover risotto. Its something that I had never considered before
Every year just before Halloween I see the internet explode with a bunch of pumpkin recipes coming from America. I can’t get over how many sweet things make with pumpkin.
We absolutely love patties in our family. I think its the perfect way to pack in different vegetables, legumes and wholegrains in a compact little size. Patties have got to
The inspiration for this recipe came from a random discovery that walnuts have quite a lot of omega 3. I always knew walnuts contained omega 3 but I didn’t know
It has taken me a few goes to get a carrot cake oatmeal right. My first two goes were ok but the carrot ended up being too crunchy and it

This is my homemade version of baked beans. I'm not sure if it is very authentic, because there is no baking involved. I have always gotten a little grossed out by baked beans on toast, only because the only version I was exposed to was the canned version.
I am actually on a mission to add more types of whole grains into my diet more consistently, hence why I also added buckwheat to this recipe. I love buckwheat because its a good source of magnesium. I have currently taken to cooking up a big batch of whole grains and freezing them. I do a big batch of millet, buckwheat, and quinoa as well as brown rice.
Paring it with the magnesium from the raw cacao and almonds as well as the b vitamins found in sunflower seeds means that this dessert is wonderful for building healthy neurotransmitters and boost mood (most chocolate does that). The added bonus of fresh raspberries adds extra antioxidants and vitamin c. I particularly love my fresh Aussie raspberries from Perfection Fresh, that I get from my local Aldi down to the road.
This cake is one of my most favourite recipes because it's so heavy on the chocolate! I really enjoyed having it in my freezer and munching away at it after the workshop, it was also really handy to have to serve to guests.
