Welcome to my new blog!

Hello Everyone. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I’m just dropping a quick line to say “Welcome to Hazel and Cacao.” This blog is about sharing healthy and nutritious plant based recipes that I hope can inspire people to take control of their health. If you want to know more about this blog please visit the “About Me” page.

I will do my best to post a new recipe at least once or twice a week. Please feel free to ask me any questions about the recipes or any other information on my blog. You can follow me on facebook and instagram and I will soon be launching a youtube channel as well. In the meantime here is a bit of a teaser of what you can expect to see in the following weeks.

    Hi I’m Sarah !!

    I’m always looking for healthy and nutritious recipes and ways to simply impove my health. Just by looking at the pictures of your wonderful creations I know that I’m at the right place. I struggled with food in the past and even though I’m healthy and happy now, I think that I could make more positive changes reagarding nutrition and overall health. I really want to start fresh in 2016 and I have great hope that I will find inspiration here. Simple recipes and health tips is all that I’m asking for.

      Hi Sarah! Thank you for your lovely comment! I used to have the worst struggles with food so I completely understand where you are coming from. I’m so glad you stumbled across my blog! I love talking about nutrition and how it affects our health. Please feel free to give me suggestions for whatever you would like me to write on. Still new at this whole thing so trying to figure it all out 🙂

        I’m not vegan even though I would like to be but it’s so complicated with my familly that I have decided to put that life choice on the ice for a moment. I still want to eat healthy and vegan, so I would really appreciate easy lunch recipes and more tips and tricks on how to maintein this lifestyle in the long run. Since I would like to make the transition slowly I would really like to know how to transition within in a year or something like that. Also, I have a huge sweet tooth and when I don’t have healthy options at home I tend to fall for the unhealthy processed sweet stuff so I would love tips and tricks on how to battle those sweet cravings and on how to make easy, quick and healthy little treats for those moments.

        I hope that my english is not that bad…french is actually my firsy language.

          Hey Sarah, your english is just fine! I’m not actually entirely vegan myself. I’m actually planning to start off the new year with lots of lunch recipes, so your in luck! I will have lots of dessert recipes for you to try, the great thing about most of them is that you can freeze them for a really long time and you can pull them out every time you have a craving. I was thinking about writing a few articles about transitioning to a plant based lifestyle and a few other health type topics so if people are interested I will do my best to write down a few tips.
